All at Sea…

June 8, 2017

As well as offering an abundance of great attractions on dry land there’s also loads to do and see in and around the waters of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding Lanzarote.

So if you’re booking a break in one of our Playa Blanca holiday villas and feel like making waves and joining the wet set we offer a comprehensive selection of marine excursions for you to enjoy – just visit our excursions page for more details.

Luxury catamaran sailings

Twin hulled catamaran’s are ideal for even the queasiest of sailors as they offer much more stability at sea than single hulled vessels, helping to iron out the bumps created by the waves. As a result you’re assured a smoother voyage – which means you can just sit back, relax and concentrate on the sightseeing.

Our luxury catamaran sailings embark for a variety of different destinations whilst also offering the opportunity to enjoy a totally different perspective of Lanzarote and it’s stunning shoreline.

Papagayo sailing

The coves and beaches that are collectively known as Papagayo form a protected zone in the south of the island, close to the resort of Playa Blanca. These are arguably the most beautiful beaches on Lanzarote and remain resolutely unspoilt – making them a great spot to drop anchor.

Our luxury catamaran comes equipped with jet skis and snorkelling equipment so you can dive into the crystal-clear waters here. Most cruises also include a free bar and meal too – so everything is taken care of for you. Choose between adults only or family sailings with prices starting from 55 euros per adult.

Explore other islands

As well as discovering Lanzarote’s stunning shoreline our cruises also explore two of the small islands located just off the coast.

La Graciosa is the small spit of land that can be viewed from the amazing Mirador del Rio in the north of Lanzarote. It was once thought to have provided the inspiration for the famous Treasure Island story and is certainly a real unspoilt jewel – as there are no tarmac roads or tourist development here at all.

Alternatively you can cruise across to Los Lobos – the tiny islet situated in between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, which is totally uninhabited.

Private yachts and charters

If you’re looking to escape the crowds but still want to take to the waves then we also offer private yacht tours, which start from 250 euros – as well as specialist fishing charters.

Dive, dive, dive

You can also explore beneath the waves on board Lanzarote’s very own yellow submarine. There’s a multitude of marine life in the waters around Lanzarote and this is the best way to get up close and personal.
