You might have heard that one of Lanzarote’s greatest selling points is the weather, and it’s true! Our villas are suitable for year-round holidays, but interestingly, Lanzarote’s peak season tends to be between November and April – when holidaymakers flock to the island for some much-needed winter sun. Similarly, the summer months bring high volumes of tourists, but come September and October, the number of tourists dwindle – leaving you free to soak up the sun, sights and sounds in relative peace and quiet. This is particularly true in Playa Blanca, where visitors can enjoy a more laid-back vibe than in other busier resorts.
Immerse yourself in culture
With fewer crowds to contend with during the quieter months, Playa Blanca is a delightful place to immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions. With a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafés and bars in the town centre, you can tuck into fresh seafood, sangria and a friendly atmosphere – any time of day. Or head out of town and learn about the fascinating life of César Manrique, a local artist, architect and environmentalist, with a visit to see some of his most revered pieces of work. The Mirador de Rio is an impressive structure with awe-inspiring views of the island, while the César Manrique Foundation is home to beautiful displays of his work.
