Balcony is huge & we spent many hours there watching the ferries coming & going. Stones throw from the seafront bars & restaurants. Or go left for Punta Limones centre, go right & short walk up the hill to the Papagayo centre. Supermarket 2 mins walk. Cannot fault location. Apartment was lovely, clean, spacious & very well equipped especially in the kitchen, lots of storage in both bedrooms & hairdryers supplied which always gets my vote! If the en-suite was modernised to match the main bathroom it would be even better, still perfectly adequate though. We were glad for the extra blankets sitting on the balcony of a night time as it got a bit windy (stayed in March). I would say this apartment exceeded our expectations. Communication from Optima all along from booking was fantastic & accommodated us for an earlier check in. Lots of helpful info on an app specifically for this apartment & lots more info within a folder in the apartment. Had a couple of issues we needed to contact locally about & received replies within an hour so all good. We’ve stayed in Playa Blanca a few times previously, this apartment will definitely be on our ‘must return to list’ from now on. We loved it & hope to book again very soon. Thanks Optima."

The apartment itself is very well presented and spacious, with a good size balcony that's in the sun from first thing in the morning until mid afternoon. Despite the central location, the apartment was very quiet and at night the only sound was the lapping of the waves below us. Optima Villas were excellent throughout, right from our initial enquiry and booking, through the stay and to departure.“

We had a couple of issues when we first arrived as there were no fans and a bulb was out in the en-suite bathroom and we couldn’t get the TV or internet to work; I emailed support in the morning (I must apologise to Diana who had responded but I didn’t realise as her email had gone into my spam mail) and everything was sorted within a matter of a couple of hours (and on a Sunday!). What a fantastic service Optima Villa’s provides, totally professional with excellent customer service, you really do care about your customer having an enjoyable holiday without issue. We enjoyed our holiday so much we didn’t want to go home and I can’t wait to re-book the same apartment with you for next year, I can assure you I will be in touch in due course once we’ve sorted dates and flights. If I could make one suggestion, no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t work out how to get the hob to work (grill and oven were fine) – if you could put something in the file, I think that would help future guests.
